A collaboration Between Chris Beeston and T.B.D. Studio, the Hot Mess Bic Flashlight combines Beeston’s passion for creating adhoc plastic lamps with Tanner Bowman’s Hot Mess crafting technique. Beeston empties a BIC lighter and retrofits it with an AAA battery compartment and a flickering LED flame, which is operated using the fuel button as a switch. Tanner then reupholsters the flashlight with a drippy layer of pigmented hot glue to give each lighter a one of a kind finish. Comes with two rechargeable AAA batteries. Handle with care.
